Unforgettable Childhood days
During my childhood days, I had a hobby of planting plants in my house. We had lot of pots in our house and my mom used to take care of all very well. I also loved to water the plants and I was assigned the duty of watering plants every day, after I came back from school. I loved the fresh smell of the mud when water fell on it. It was very pleasant to see the variety of insects and bugs which used to stay in the leaves of the plants and the fun in killing some of them.
I used to plant variety of plants by collecting whatever kind of seeds I could get. The plant which I liked to grow the most was the Mango plant, during my Summer Holidays. I remembered this incident when I was eating the fruit of the season – Mango. When there were lots of empty pots available, I used to collect the mango seeds from my mom, dad and bro and plant 2 seeds in a single pot. I was also looking after those daily and used to check how much it has grown. Like this, I was planting 4-5 seeds every summer. It used to grow beautifully. I still remember my dad using the leaves from those plants and using them on occasion of festivals. I also used to plant coriander, lemon, tomato, rose, mint and tried out with whatever seed I used to get. It was a very long time, almost 6-7yrs since I planted any plant. Yesterday, I planted a mango seed in one of the pot. This reminded me of those childhood days, which all of cherish even today. The touch of the wet mud, making sufficient way for the seed to fit in, and again covering all the mud with bare hands was a good feeling.
However busy we are, we still remember those golden days of our life, where we played a lot, enjoyed to the core without any tension, nothing to take care of, no responsibilities, no worries(except about our exams), the pranks we played and many more… Surely, Childhood days are the most memorable days of our lives…
